Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day compounding departments, ensuring smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and identify development opportunities.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement manufacturing strategies, goals, and objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Implement and oversee process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Implement and maintain effective safety programs and practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to drive operational excellence, resolve issues, and optimize overall performance.
Requirements
BS/BA is required; ideally in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other science or engineering degrees
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, must have experience in the chemical, blending, batching and related industry.
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving operational goals.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and implement best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, and industry standards.
