Commercial(or Sr.) Underwriter, to 145K base(DOE), Midwest or Northeast Region/Remote WFH. A+ standard lines commercial insurance carrier is seeking a Commercial or Sr. Commercial Underwriter to write new and renewal business. Candidate will be responsible for writing general commercial lines and developing retail agency broker relationships. Middle market background preferred, up to 300k in premium. 5-10 years of insurance carrier multi line or package underwriting experience and proven history working with retail agents and brokers. Ability to manage an underwriting desk. Strong technical and analytical skills along with business development background. College degree strongly preferred, designations(CPCU) highly desirable. 100k-145k base(DOE), bonus, benefits, 401k and Remote WFH. Candidates would be required to travel to the Central New Jersey Office one week per quarter. Candidates in the Midwest or Northeast.
