Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

 

Location: Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: This full-time position offers an attractive salary, along with relocation allowances, medical education debt reimbursement, CME allowances, and potential bonuses.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and qualified cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team and provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The successful candidate must have a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing the best possible patient care.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Perform a variety of complex cardiothoracic surgeries

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis of cardiothoracic conditions

• Supervise and direct the medical care of patients

• Ensure comprehensive patient care with an emphasis on preventative medicine

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

 

Qualifications:

 

• Must be board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery

• Must have experience in an academic medical center or similar setting

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment

• Must have the ability to effectively manage stress

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

• Knowledge of cardiothoracic diseases and treatments

• Ability to interpret medical images

• Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions

• Computer literacy
