Business Development Leader will oversee sales development growth based on Custom and Catalog Products for the Automotive, Industrial, Specialty and Sub-Tier Markets.
· Identifying and growing new market opportunities in the aforementioned markets.
· Forging and maintaining strategic partnerships with key industry players, including manufacturers and sub-suppliers to the named markets including distributors, retailers, and other third parties to expand market presence.
· Researching new and existing markets, developing and furthering current relationships with companies and prospective companies.
· Develop and present company and product overviews for use in sales and marketing presentations.
· Evaluates market trends and gathering market intelligence to improve the overall business strategy.
· Increase product placements and together with our supply partners formulate and suggest new product ideas.
· Develops and executes strategic and tactical plans to ensure market success of assigned products.
· From Sales and account activities, receives, reviews and formulates responses to RFQ’s.
· Support reviews/changes to customer contracts, new and existing for overall compliance.
· Monitors ongoing accounts for pricing and profit margins and suggest/recommends new pricing strategies.
· Drives product innovation initiatives by collaborating with research and development teams to identify product opportunities.
· Conducts market research and analysis to monitor competitor activities and customer preferences.
· Manages product life cycle from concept through launch to end of life, tracking on-time production and delivery.
· Manage department team and oversee day to day functionality of the team and service to the customers
· Work with team and suppliers – act as liaison between customer and suppliers
Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales or other relevant.
· 3-10 years of Sales/Business Development out automotive or similar industry.
· Ability to demonstrate Logical, Rational and Critical analysis.
· Experience in Market Analysis
