We are seeking a Building Automation Controls Sales Executive with a robust background in mechanical engineering to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in our sales operations, leveraging their deep technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive growth and success.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for building automation systems (BAS), focusing on both new business development and existing customer growth.
- Utilize deep understanding of BAS to educate clients about system benefits, operation, and maintenance.
- Provide project estimates and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to project completion.
- Collaborate with project management and service teams to ensure project requirements and customer expectations are met.
- Actively maintain a sales pipeline and provide regular updates and forecasts to the sales management team.
- Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships, leading to repeat business and positive referrals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- EIT or PE license is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in BAS installation, service, programming, estimating, sales, and project management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals.
- Stable work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Local candidates or those willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.
