This full-time, permanent BSEE Electrical RSLogix Controls Engineer opportunity is at a manufacturer of large batch processing equipment and systems including conveyors and machines. The work here is interesting as projects are custom and there is always something new to work on. Employees are respected and not micromanaged. The environment is relaxed and employees are treated well so they tend to stay a long time. Sales are expected to double in the next five years which will create advancement opportunities.
There is a lot of learning with the position and it could take up to a year to learn the position. They are looking for someone to bring new ideas to the department. Candidates with management experience would be preferred. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
Programming Allen-Bradley RSLogix and FactoryTalk
Creating electrical designs including schematics
Creating electrical control panel layouts
Having goals of cost minimization and efficiency maximization
Documenting
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
A four-year degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Three years of experience programming industrial controls
Two years of experience programming Allen-Bradley RSLogix
Two years of experience creating electrical designs including schematics
