The Superintendent will arrange the work of one or more paving crews and coordinate activities of workers engaged in spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar material to form surfaces of highways, streets, parking lots, aircraft landing strips, driveways, etc
Supervision and coordination of activities of the Asphalt Paving Foremen and crew.
Coordinates plans and supervises field staff, subcontractors and craft activities for the assigned project.
Liaison with other departments, plants, etc. to ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
Coordinates plans and specifications with the Project Manager, clarifying discrepancies.
Supervises and coordinates crew activities, studies production schedules, and estimates work requirements for completion of job assignment
Ensures the safety of crew members and the public who may interact with job.
