Job Title: Applications Engineer

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Applications Engineer to join our team of tooling experts. As an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting tooling solutions for our customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop custom tooling solutions, and ensure that their tooling is operating at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tooling solutions for a variety of applications
- Work closely with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions
- Install, configure, and commission tooling systems
- Train customers on how to use and maintain their tooling systems
- Provide ongoing support for customers, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Stay up-to-date on the latest tooling technologies and trends
- Develop and maintain documentation for tooling systems
- Contribute to the development of new tooling products and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in tooling engineering
- Experience with a variety of tooling platforms and software
- Strong understanding of tooling design, manufacturing, and use
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial automation industries
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or C++
- Experience with machine vision or other sensor technologies
- Experience with project management
