01

Marketing and Candidate Sourcing

Our process begins with several information gathering meetings with your management team to discuss the details of the search. Together, we review the job description, define the appropriate level of compensation and determine how to present your company to candidates in the strongest possible light. From there, we source potential candidates through a wide range of channels including advertising, internal and external databases, social media and professional associations.

02

Candidate Screening

We conduct an initial phone screening with each potential candidate. We present detailed information about your company and the role, offering in-depth insight into your culture and what makes the opportunity distinctive. We then assess the candidate's experience, professional goals and genuine level of interest to gauge whether they are a strong match. For those who qualify, we provide their resume along with a summary of our notes and prepare them thoroughly for the initial interview with your team.

03

Candidate Interview Process

Once screening is complete, we coordinate a telephone interview between the candidate and the appropriate department representative from your organization. This conversation allows both sides to explore fit in greater depth before any travel is involved. When that exchange generates mutual interest, we move forward by identifying possible dates for an onsite visit and a fuller round of interviews, working around everyone's schedules so the process keeps its momentum.

04

Prior to the Initial Visit

Ahead of the visit, we prepare the candidate by discussing the cost of living differences between their home town and the job location. We explore any other opportunities or locations they may be weighing, and we take time to understand their family needs such as schooling or any special requirements. When it helps we arrange for a real estate agent to show relevant neighborhoods and we revisit the candidate's current salary along with their expectations.

05

Candidate Post Site Visit

After the site visit, we follow up promptly with the candidate to address any questions or concerns that surfaced during their time with you. We stay in close contact with both the candidate and the hiring manager, gauging the candidate's continued enthusiasm for the opportunity as well as your interest in moving them forward. This two-way check in helps us catch hesitation early and keep momentum on both sides while impressions are still fresh.

06

Feedback on the Search

Throughout the engagement, we keep the appropriate department contact informed with regular updates on the overall status of the search and on specific candidates as their situations evolve. We pass along the comments and insights we gather through informal conversations during visits as well as through ongoing email correspondence. We also follow up as needed to help schedule and complete any remaining interviews so the search continues to advance.

07

Close the Candidate

When the time comes to finalize an offer, we believe that direct negotiation between the candidate and your organization produces the strongest and most durable agreements. Our role is to facilitate those conversations, smoothing the path on questions of compensation, start dates and any contractual details that need resolving. Should you prefer, we are glad to act as an intermediary, carrying messages between both parties and helping bridge any gaps that arise.

08

Follow Up

Our involvement does not end once the successful candidate comes on board. We stay in periodic contact with both the placed candidate and your department contact during those important early months to confirm that the transition is going smoothly. If any concerns surface on either side, we work quickly to address them, protecting the investment everyone has made and giving the new hire the best possible chance to settle in and thrive.

Our Capabilities

Our recruiting sweet spots are healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. But because our valued HR leaders, recruiting partners and hiring managers “take us with them” when they move on to new companies, we gladly work with them if they have moved into new industries. It’s all about relationships. Ours run deep.
